To answer simply, Zach Gorman is the listening project. I’m a music student at Kennesaw State University, and I believe it is a life goal of mine to listen to, experience, and internalize as much music as I possibly can in a lifetime. This page exists purely for me to document my journey with music, and allow others who may be interested to interact with my experiences. Through this page I want to document my collection of media, discuss the context and importance of music in society, and most importantly, talk about the music I listen to.
If you have a passion for music like I do, feel free to tune in and follow along. Music is a universal experience designed to be shared by everyone. That’s ultimately the reason I want to make this public instead of just writing stuff down in a journal. When you hear a piece of music that speaks to you, I encourage you to speak up, start a discussion, and don’t be afraid to be a part of the listening project.
